Our projects fit within our corporate strategy of exploring for versatile metals close to existing infrastructure. To date we have an inventory of over 2 billion pounds of contained copper in two deposits, with much more yet to be discovered from additional drilling.
Our three main projects include the Nakru-01 copper-gold system containing 233,400 tonnes of copper and 11 350,000 oz gold and the large 700,000 tonne copper deposit at Simuku in Papua New Guinea. Both systems contain an upper enrichment zone of secondary copper. At the Nakru-02 deposit 1 kilometre to the west of Nakru-01, drilling intersected a massive sulphide lens of 3 to 4% copper at 25m depth.
A Conceptual Mining Study has been completed for Nakru-01. The upside is a significant potential for an increase in tonnage with further drilling.
